6th annual Hot Doggett 100; 100-mile and 100K closed loop courses; Cyclists looking for a serious riding challenge should come to Western North Carolina (20 miles north of Asheville) on to ride 100 miles or 100 kilometers in the 6th annual Hot Doggett 100. Veteran riders have described our ride to be like Georgia's well-known Six Gap Ride, but over the lightly trafficked roads of Madison County, North Carolina. Riders can click in at the start and click out at the finish line: some participants never put their feet down. This Rotary-organized ride features: excellent SAG support, well-stocked rest stops every 10 - 20 miles, times logged for all riders who finish, showers and lockers, low-cost accommodations in an on-site college dorm and a hearty post ride meal.
